How To Make Money Taking Online Surveys?

Lots of people get excited when they hear about the possibility of making money taking online surveys. Why shouldn't they. It's fun to make some extra money sharing your opinion with big companies. The problem is most people don't know where to begin. I've put together the following list to help you get started.

1. Join a trusted survey site. Click here to see my recommended survey sites.

2. When you sign up you will need to provide some basic information along with your email address. I strongly recommend signing up for a seperate email address that you will only use for survey sites. These sites can generate a lot of email and it's nice to keep it out of your personal inbox.

3. After your email address has been verified you should be able to log into your account. This process varies by site. Most sites have several short profile surveys for you to fill out. Normally you won't be paid to fill these out, they are used to better direct future surveys to you.

4. Once you have completed your profile surveys (or maybe even before) you should be able to locate some available surveys.

5. Go for it! Try taking your first survey.

6. Keep in mind that you won't qualify for many of the surveys you attempt. This is normal. Most surveys are looking for a specific demographic. If you don't qualify, don't worry, keep trying and soon you will qualify.

7. Most sites only allow one registered user per household or IP address. Be sure not to sign up everyone in your house or you could end up having your account closed.

8. Once you have taken a few surveys you will probably be getting close to cashing out. This process varies by site. Most have a minimum amount you must reach prior to requesting a cashout. Some sites pay by check, PayPal, or gift cards.

9. Most importantly, you should never pay to join a survey site or pay for information about taking surveys. You're the one who should be getting paid.
